Intrigue Tiles

Intrigue Tiles represent minor resources that a Noble can use. There are four types of Intrigue Tile; Mercenary, Foreign Troops, Writ and Defection. Defection must be played when it is drawn by a Player while all the other Intrigue Tiles are played on a Noble. Once an Intrigue Tile other than Defection is played on a Noble, it can only be traded with another Noble in the same Region during Politics. Intrigue Tiles other than Defection are subject to Defection. Mercenary costs one Pound during Upkeep and summons a Mercenary Cube which generates one Battle Die and one ReRoll for the Noble it is on. Foreign Troops can be discarded during Warfare to generate two Battle Dice. Writs can be discarded during Politics to generate three Authority in one specific Region during one act of Acquiring a Holding. Defection must be discarded when drawn and allows a Player to steal another Player's Partisan Chip, Intrigue Tile or Ally Tile if the Player stealing has a Noble in the same Regio...

Ally Tiles

Ally tiles represent independent resources that can join a Noble. There are three types of Ally Tile;  Ships, Friends and Barons. Once an Ally Tile is played on a Noble it can only be traded with another Noble in the same region during Politics and can also be subject to Defection during Politics. Ships allow the Noble they are on to move to any Region during Movement although this may be nullified by an Event. Friends generate one Battle Die in a Region and provide one Support. Barons summon a Baron Cube into play on the Noble they are on and provide one Seat at Parliament. Baron Cubes can only be slain on a twelve or four-of-a-kind.

Chancery Tiles

Chancery Tiles represent the feudal, ecclesiastic and royal institutions that provide the backbone of government for England. There are three types of Chancery Tiles; Royal Offices, Bishoprics and Earldoms. There are seven of each type of Chancery Tile for a total of twenty-one Chancery Tiles. Once a Chancery Tile is played on a Noble it cannot be removed and remains on that Noble until the Noble is slain. Royal Offices have individual effects as outlined below; Warden of the North generates one Authority and two Battle Dice in Northumbria and Yorkshire as well as providing two Support.
